Reception- The GruffaloBack to News
We have read the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ and have been sequencing the story and naming the characters. The children were very excited when they discovered giant Gruffalo footprints in Reception, and wrote letters to warn Mrs Clark that there was a Gruffalo loose in the school!
After reading 'The Gruffalo,' we created the characters of the story whilst describing their features: "The Gruffalo has purple spikes, claws and tusks."
During mathematics, we were learning preposition. We took turns hiding the Gruffalo around the classroom for others to find. "The Gruffalo is under the table!"
