Year 4 - EngageBack to News
For Year 4’s topic this half term, they jetted off (virtually) to America! The children came into their classroom airport, had their passports stamped, received boarding passes, fastened their seatbelts and flew off! Once they landed, Year 4 learnt about the famous landmarks in America, including the history behind them and their location. Following this, they made their favourite landmark out of clay. The children also learnt about classic American foods and followed a recipe to make their own individual apple pie. As part of the topic, Year 4 also learnt about Native American traditions and made their own dreamcatchers and head-dresses.
