As part of their new topic, 'Darwin's Delights,' Year 6 learnt about Charles Darwin and the importance of his work, particularly on the Galapagos Islands. They researched his work on the finches, tortoises and other animals that live on the island and how their adaptations helped to form the theory of evolution.  During their art sessions, they sketched these animals focusing on shading.
